I got my bachelor degree in Engineer Design at Technical university of Sofia, but what really matters for me is photography. It all started in 2006. I took my mom’s digital camera and went to a skateboarding competition in my hometown- Plovdiv. There I made few shots that I personally liked and soon found out that my friends liked them too. Then I started experimenting by shooting everything, as we all do. My efforts soon gave results. I won a few local and one national photography competitions. In the time I upgraded to better and more capable camera equipment, but still had long way to go. At this time I’m mostly working on wedding, automotive and concert photography. The automotive photography allows me to experiment as much as I want with light and different post processing techniques. Concert photography is the way I reveal my love to music: by capturing those melodic moments into a muted, but at the same time screaming images. Wedding photography brings me down to earth. Gets me closer to the people, their origins and customs.

I have been interested in photography for as long as I can remember. I realized that photography does not simply teach you to take in the world with sharpened senses. It helps you sense life, immerse yourself in the moment and remember it forever. My goal is to find beauty - as much in the colorful as in the black and white, and to tell a story - as much through the smiles as through the tears. I love capturing spontaneous and unforced reactions, because there's exactly where the magic of the moment lies. To me it's a responsibility and a great privilege to capture you and those close to you the way you are - unique and genuine.
